Motion City Soundtrack launches Contest for Charity
Posted by Jenn Aguinaldo
Motion City Soundtrack is giving away grants totaling $3,500 dollars to three lucky winners of the “Give A Little Help” campaign. The winners are to use the grant money to fund a project that benefits the charity or cause of their choice. All you would need to do is submit a video telling the band what your “Little Help” cause is about and what you will do with the grant money to help out those in need. You can download an instrumental version of their new single “A Lifeless Ordinary (Need A Little Help)” to use in your video submission. So far there have been submissions dealing with AIDS in Africa to the arts and the band is in need of more. The top three Grand Prize winners will be chosen by the men of Motion City Soundtrack from the list of 20 finalists by way of top votes. First prize is $2,000, second being $1,000, and the third prize winner will receive $500. Those winners will receive a visit from frontman Justin himself. 10 runner up winners will get a signed My Dinosaur Life 7 Deluxe box (signed by band and Joe Ledbetter) and a “Give A Little Help” T-shirt. Go to the Motion City Soundtrack website to see the videos and get all the details which can be found here. Good luck.
